Thanks to our freinds at Redarc we have another option for a brake controler. First one installed and tested. More testing is needed but everything works really well and it is a "relatively" easy install. There are a few other cool perks that come with it as you will see in the pic.

The four wires under the back seat not needed...

More pictures and a video tomorrow.

This all works really well. The only annoying part is that the 7 way trailer plug at the rear bumper is hardwired so I had to replace that with a plug style. I'll get a parts list and post more now the holidays are out of the way.

Please do! I'm finally ready to test out my one trailer that requires a brake controller.

You will need:
https://www.grote.com/electrical-connections/trailer-connectors/7-way-rv-connectors/82-1060/ or simular

The two extra pieces can be sourced from many places but the brake controller itself is only showing on the Australian website at the moment. Should be soon - end of Feb I'm told at the moment.

It is a straightforward install and eliminates the need for the prewire under the back seat that is sometimes not complete. The app also works well and will show on your carplay if you want.

I really like the looks of this option. About how long did it take you to rewire and install a new plug? I am picking up my new to me 2024 Trialmaster on Saturday and need to have brake options within a week or so. I see the Redarc Tow-Pro Link is available via Etrailer.

The first one we did took about 3 hours but we did a lot of testing and making sure we had the right parts. After that first one it was less than an hour.
