Hi Grenadiers,
as I do not have the 2nd Battery installed in may Grenadier because so far I did not need it, I am now thinking of upgrading afterwards.
The additional electrical power I will just need it once or twice a year.

So I researched what I can do and came up with an new alternative to the native Ineos Solution...

I am thinking of buying an DJI Power 1000 in combination with the new DJI Power 1.8KW Supercharger Car / Solar Combo accessory.
So I can hook the Power 1000 up to the main battery when I need it. Have decent electrical support, reverse charging and the ability to attach a mobile solar panel while being stationary.

Seems to me like a very good solution I can install myself and just in case I need it. The added mobility and versatility of this solution is a big added Bonus in my eyes.
Plus over the DJI app I have additional wireless control options on top. Plus can use the Power 1000 in other scenarios as well.

As I am not an electrician I am curios what you guys think about my Idea?! :)

Regards from Munich Germany!

A portable power station such as this one from DJI is a flexible solution, a great option for camping or other outdoor activities.
Typically Jackary and Bluetti are the market leaders, but this one looks comparable to their offerings.
It is worth double checking what you are likely to use it for too. There is no compelling reason to go for much higher specification than required as that just adds to the weight and size of the power station.

Good combination. I love my BLUETTI and alternator charger 1.

Rarely use solar power anymore. Only for extended camping stays.

Hey @MunichMax

I have this in my IG ( Dual Battery & Power Station. ) I did install a DC-to-DC charger (CTEK 250SE) as I do have the factory aux second battery package. You shouldn't have any issues with the DJI Super Fast Car charger hooked to the starter battery (even with smart alternator warnings).

Some big benefits are that the DJI 1000 can charge your starter batter (settable voltage cutoff), you get a nice inverter that is much more capable than the stock IG inverter, and the DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT) will allow you to easily add solar to keep the DJI 1000s topped up when not driving (extended base camp outings). It can removed and moved when you need more space or the DJI 1000 is needed for power elsewhere. Easily expandable with the DJI Power Expansion Battery 2000

Good thinking and a good system for your power needs!

Thank you guys for the feedback. So now its time to spend some money and make things work... :D
