Only that 2023 year model shouldn't get it. But they dont explain why the 2023 model is not getting it.
Some of the electronics were changed between MY23 and MY24 (not sure where the MY23.5 sits in terms of electronics), and they operate different versions of software. So, either Ineos have updated only MY24 software as a matter of choice, or it could be that the electronics on the MY23 cannot be changed easily (or cost effectively - back to choice again). It's also possible that the changes are only newer builds, and maybe not all MY24s will get it, as Ineos is not exactly following a typical MY update method. Plus, there are regional differences.

The german YouTube channel Abenteuer4X4 INEOS Grenadier showed the latest software update in a video. Seems so that we can turn the lockers back on again directly without steering wildly back and forth. Only that 2023 year model shouldn't get it. But they dont explain why the 2023 model is not getting it.

For what it's worth, my MY24 allows me to switch the diff lockers on/off without steering wildly; even when the light is flashing I can switch them on/off. The light flashing simply indicates that it has not detected whether it is locked or unlocked (based on wheel speed sensors), not whether or not it is actually locked

My MY23 is like that as well. I have to be moving forwards (not tried backwards) but do not need to steer much if at all any.

Did you recently got a software update?

When i disengage the lockers i have to wait till the light stops to flash. When it is off i can engage again. But not before.

Nope, no software update that addressed anything drivetrain related since new (January 2024 production)
