Auxiliary battery. Confused

I am a bit confused. Apart from the obvious extra battery and split charger what else does the auxiliary battery option include. Do you get any pre wired switches or additional outlets?

The additional switches and circuits come from the High Power Aux Switch option, not aux battery option.

The INEOS website description of the Aux Battery option tells you nothing (which I assume is why your need to ask).

It may include the second 5 stud busbar and I am not sure if it also includes the CTEK120S. I do not know for sure as I have a dual setup.

the way they did it is that they made two batteries behave as one.
You don't get separate switches etc on the second battery, you get the second battery added to the first battery as additional capacity.

Thank you guys excellent support as always.

I have purchased a pre built new Gren commercial (UK) which has the auxiliary battery option and thought it included roof top socket outlets. It's not a problem but wish the Ineos web was more detailed.

Also included is ruff and smooth pack, rear ladder, tow pack , alt - compass and leather seats. It's Inky black running on steels with Bfg's.

I have also purchased a secondhand set of unused 17" alloys and Rock sliders as well as a spare wheel storage box.

Hopefully take delivery next week.

Regarding the ble battery monitor how would that fit onto an early trialmaster with dual batteries any info would be appreciated

The BLE fits on my dual battery Trialmaster. I have one on each battery, giving 2 in total.

You just need some double sided tape or Velcro to hold the unit to the BLE to the battery - I use Velcro for easy removal and reattachment.

The Ancel will also fit, but I found the BLE to be more accurate for my use.

With the BLE run the wires under the battery holding bracket and be careful about placement, as the wires only just reach to the terminals. It is a snug fit.

I loosened the secondary battery nut (from memory) and slid the BLE's U terminals over the bolt and then tightened. That way I did not lose any nuts under the seat.

thanks for the help I've ordered two of the ble ones from ebay , the dual battery setup is confusing to say the least .

Confusing enough that dual battery is no longer an option you can order..
