So something a bit different.
I wanted a basket/tray rather than a platform.
Ended up with 3x Thule ProBar Evo bars and a Rhino Rack AT alloy tray (2180mm). The tray was on Clearance - ~$330 - so all up ~AUD1,000.
The Thule bars have a "vertical" gutter - ideal for extra eye hooks as tie downs
Thule ProBar Evo also fit Ineos - with the 20cm feet

EasyFlo added

FUEL TRANSFER
  1. Scrunnel; the thread on the Scrunnel is incompatible with the Grenadier, at least for the AU Spec Diesel model;
  2. Mr Funnel which can filter out water and debris from fuel, look here;
  3. EasyFlo fuel and water transfer pumps with support and parts here;
  4. The Tanami Pump; the Metal Jerry Can Transfer Pump. No moving parts, the pump runs on compressed air; and
  5. Look also under DIESEL FUEL FUNNEL above.

Sydney 4WD and Adventure Show, starts today and also Sat and Sun

I was at the Sydney 4WD and Adventure Show today. Quite a few IG's and QM's around.

1. Trig Point have a new front light bar coming, using small STEDI lights. I saw the prototype today. It looks like a DIY instal, and it plugs into one of the roof outlets- I suspect the single 25 amp circuit over the driver's door (RHD). The prototype is being modified to better deal with the safari windows.

2. Arcane Warrior also had a 270 degree awning mounted on roof rails. It must be a prototype as it is not on their website. They also had an AW Resolve Swivel Ladder mounted on the IG (I did mention the IG has a rear ladder):

3. I spent a few minutes talking to Ronny Dahl on the NORWELD site. I told him about a few of the threads over here that could help him with his QM build out. He said he would join the forum. I suggested he use a non de plume!

4. I had a long chat with Patriot Campers about the ST5 and got to walk inside. At one point there was 2 potential customers and the Patriot GM - all three of us named Michael. So we became Michael 1, Michael 2 and Michael 3. I was 2. The order in which we revealed ourselves as Michael.

5. I visited the GrenX site and booked the final part of my build, a sealed snorkel, rear airbags and have GrenX fit the diff breather kit. Blink and you will miss it, their site is near the ARB Earth Camper, which is next to the massive ARB tent. They are overwhelmed with work at the moment and trying to recuit staff.

6. The Red Devil at the Purnell Adventure/INEOS site. Apparantly a few owners are now ordering Red.
