I have KO3s and Nokian LT3 snow tires on 17 inch steel OEM rims Ordered an Owl under passenger seat air compressor.

Looking for a way to deflate and inflate the tires. It seems that some tires do better with a differential of Front/Back, so I was thinking about a hose set up that will fill two tires at a time from the front seat.

I see there are electronic gauges- will they also automatically stop the flow of air at a certain pressure on filling? On deflating? Or get the value stems for airing down.

I see that the value stems on the IG have an extra set of threads on them? Is this for specialized adaptions?

These are not permanently fitted systems. You fit them as needed to the air compressor:

AIR COMPRESSOR ACCESSORIES - MUTLI-TYRE INFLATE OR DEFLATE SYSTEMS
  1. MAXTRAX Indeflate (2 and 4 hose versions). AU Distributor of the South African Indeflate;
  2. Campboss Air De-flate 4;
  3. Ironman Air Champ Dual Inflator;
  4. Air Parts Australia 4-way Tire Inflator/Deflator;
  5. MORRFlate Multi-Tire inflation and deflation kits, they also US and Canada websites;
  6. BOSS Air Suspension Air Management Systems;
  7. QuatroAir Pro: 4-Tyre Hose Kit;
  8. Clearview Tyre Spider (4 hose); and
  9. DFL8 Manual AU made tyre deflators here.

Morriflate in action , paired with an ARB fixed twin compressor. Also work well with my T-Max 160l/m portable compressor

What length hoses did you get? My Compressor is under the right (US passenger) seat, so to reach the drivers rear tire, without going over body work of thru the cabin, what length did you get?
Do I see that you need to use an adaptor between the Morflate and the ARB?
Do you air down with the same set up, or use something else?

My compressor is under the left hand (passenger) seat. I use a Morrflate duo with 24’ hose which is plenty long enough to reach around the vehicle and yes I can use it to deflate as well. The standard Morrflate kit I got plugs directly into the ARB COMPRESSOR. I went for the double hose as I tend to keep higher pressure in the back tires.
You could get a quad hose and leave two disconnected if you want different pressures between front and back. I use an air blower on one hose and leave one disconnected as required.

I was thinking the double hose just for storage and space.

You can use it to deflate, do you? Or do you use something else?

I have an ARB deflator as well which takes the valve cores out. The Morrflate is more convenient to deflate by pulling the slide collar out when not connected to the compressor

Locking Air Chuck Question
I built a inflation/deflation system and have run into an issue. The locking air chucks that I purchased do not lock on the valve stem very well. If I test them with an unmounted valve step they lock on. When I try to lock them on my OEM 17" or 18" wheels they do not seal well and leak.

I used a generic Amazon model that was well rated. It looks like the diameter of the chuck hits the wheel an interferes with the connection.

Which locking air chucks have worked well?

Thanks

I make a 4-wheel at a time air hose system earlier this year running my dual compressor off of the rear NATO plug. I used this chuck from Amzaon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09YXZ2NLZ?tag=globalgrena0b-20 . I used the 'closed' version so when the chuck is off the stem no air flows out of it. In use when inflating all 4 tires to get back up to highway pressure, I connect all four tires and set my compressor to 43psi. Compressor turns off when all four tires are 43psi. Then I pull off the front tire chucks, turn the compressor up to 49 and the rear tires get inflated with no air coming out the disconnected front chucks. My setup does not deflate so I don't' know if you need the open or closed version but these do a good job of slide locking on / off quickly without having to twist. No issue so far on leakage.

43 and 49? I find 36 is a good pressure. What size tires are you running?

The factory KO2 18's. I'm just following the sticker on the door jamb (probably for the standard 17s anyway) and the factory TPS sensor settings. I do typically set the tires a few PSI below the sticker just a tad bit for a softer highway ride. I've seen the various (and lengthy ! ) forum posts on tire pressures and I am NOT a tire aficionado. I hesitated when I put numbers in my post because I thought someone would call me out.

If you are riding at 36 how do you set the tps sensors to not give off the 'Low Tire Pressure Warning'? Can we set the pressure range (I know - RTFM) or do you have the dealer do it?

We use the Indeflate with 2 hose and analog gauge, love it, easy, quick and correct pricepoint.
I run the indeflate 4 hose version and vert happy with it as well, there's certainly quicker ways to deflate but I'm a patient man!

I run all 4 at 36 but they are km3's. Anything north of 38 is high to me for truck tyres, but them that's me. As long as in the manufacturers ranges then whatever feels and wears good.

To reset the tpms pressures go to temp screen and press the 3 bar icon in right hand corner. Takes a while to reset.
