Activating the cargo bed light; how?

In the rear of our QM beds (or tubs for those outside of North America), there is a light on the rear of the bed, opposite the tire, next to the tailgate. I'm not sure how to turn it on.

Since the QM does not have a traditionally located third tail light and bed light, typical on most pick-ups, light is at a premium in the bed. While I intend to add a switched work light to the roll bar at some point, I would like to make use of the included bed light.

I checked the owner's manual and didn't see anything.

How do I (we?) turn it on?

Page 45 of the manual. Turn on the ignition, then flip your overhead power switch to on. Then touch the white lens with your hand for more than 2 seconds. To turn off the light hold white lens for 1 second. Don't forget to turn off the over head power switch?
