Thread 'How do you remove the mirror connector?'
Hi, does anyone know how to remove the mirror connector from the door insert? The white connector should slide I would think but I cannot make it work. Thank you!
Thread 'Isolating a Roof Plug'
Has anyone been able to isolate one of the 3 roof line plugs that are on the Ext 3 circuit? I’m looking to power extra lights or a starlink mini that I’d rather keep separate from my scene lights and not route have to run more wires though the roofline. My only guess is wiring in something like a Garmin power switch from where the EXT 3 roof plugs are sourced, but not sure if I’m this chasing potential use case down correctly. Any ideas?
Thread 'Dual battery connector disconnect'
Hello, could someone chime in where is the ground I need to disconnect on the battery connector before I remove the negative terminals from the main and auxiliary batteries? Do I need to remove alll the plastic shroud wit the totx 50 bolts to access it? Anyone has a picture of it? Thank you
Thread 'New Year Service Overdue Bug'
Thank you to the moron software developer at whatever software company that Ineos uses for my new annoying feature after a new year has rolled over /s service overdue 1899 days I get it serviced every 5,000km.
Thread 'Sound system upgrade and 8-pin connectors disconnect'
Hi, has any of you managed to disconnect the grey and brown 8-pin connectors under the dash/steering column from the audio unit? I’m trying, in vain, for a few days to disconnect these two connectors and it’s very difficult, I cannot see what I’m doing. Any tips how to make this work? Thanks
Thread 'Rear internal light connector'
Hi, Does anyone know what type of electrical connectors are used to plug into the internaL roof lights, especially the one in the rear. Photos attached of the lamp. I've emailed the company but just wondered if anyone has been down this road already? Thanks G.
I don't know how happy I was with my installer in Houston, Tx. I had bad coil whine all the time when applying the gas and felt I was sold the speakers they had sitting in the shop. It wasn't cheap either at around $4k. Anyway the system needs to be replaced due to water intrusion eating up my amps under the seat and the door speakers being soaked. If I'm going to pull new wiring I might as well just do it all. What speakers/amp/setup have you guys found works great with clean sound? I...
so did i hear it right on the grenadierworks podcast that ineos went to encrypted can bus messages? So i can't tap into the bus and use candump toolkits to see what actually is going on in the car? I get that i can see a lot on the ODB2 gateway but i would love to spend more time seeing what actually is happening on CAN. Assuming they use a lot of bosch gear i think its not craxy hard to reverse engineer? Anyone played around with the canbus yet? Does right to repair act (Massachusetts...
Last night my battery level showed 69% when I parked it. This morning it showed 75% when I first started it.... No, I didn't charge it overnight. So, is the battery level only measured for the main battery and did the aux battery trickle charge the main overnight?
I am hoping that there is someone on here that has installed the Elecbrake VM1 wireless brake controller. I bought it from ExpeditionHQ in Australia. they have a great system for the wagon with a mounting bracket and everything but what are people doing with the Quartermaster. where have you mounted the unit? I have the aluminium tray back.
Thread 'Issue with Wolbox mirror'
I have a weird issue with my Tri Pro: it has been a few weeks that it switches automatically in reverse mode (see attached photo). From there I can’t switch back to normal modes, I can’t even go to the settings panel. I did not wired it to the reverse light, the corresponding wire is tucked and isolated close to the rear camera. Have you ever had this issue? Maybe @WolfBox can you private message me to discuss? Thanks
Greetings Grenny Gurus! Excellent forum here. Just this week (in South Australia) got a 12/23 build Trialmaster with the aux battery fitted. Has anyone elected to keep them both as a parallel starter setup (nice that they are matched) BUT re-run the aux devices from a new dedicated aux battery (LiFpo4 etc) with dedicated DCDC charger? Seems a viable option to retain both installed batteries (210Ah total cap is nice for starter) and just overlay a decent aux setup independent of this...
Just hooked up a trailer for the first time (factory wiring, 7-pin plug) and the brown wire (running lights) is cold. No juice. Brake lights and turn signals are fine. Anyone else have this issue? Fuses are all good.
I just had my vehicle serviced at the dealership after 6 weeks of ownership. It was a collection of things including: Software update that should have been done before delivery, sticking door handle, whistling HVAC (remains unfixed), plus picking up a couple of accessories. Upon leaving, I noticed that the “2028 days past due service” alert was still present, which surprised me. I went back and asked. The service rep said that IA corp has asked all dealers to NOT reset service intervals...
Hi! My new Pixel 10 running Android 16 appears to be incompatible with the Android Auto version installed in my Grenadier. My dealer has confirmed that the vehicle already has the latest available software update. Where can I find the Android Auto version and the head unit software version in the Grenadier’s infotainment menus? Anyone else with A new Pixel Phone? C
Opening driver side rear passenger door powers on infotainment screen - anyone seen or been aware of this behavior? Is it intended or a bug? I noticed it after almost two years of ownership. I noticed opening doors sometimes starts the infotainment, but on my recent camping trip I started to question this behavior when found out that the screen does not always power on when opening doors, randomly, but only certain doors.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the front headlights. Where do I look to check connections for the halo / ring light on the right (U.S. spec passenger) side?
So, the previous owner had a setup installed from MB Quart that includes amps and crossover under both front seats, speakers, tweeters and a sub. Got in the vehicle the other day after being a way for a week and the treble frequencies sound like someone someone screaming through mylar and there was zero bass. Basically, I'm gong to replace the entire thing, plus, I hated the sub, made everything sound like flatulent edm. The tweeters don't actually work either, so, have to buy a new...
Thread 'Air Pressure accuracy-hPa'
For the nerds like me that wondered how accurate the air pressure sensor you can see in Pathfinder mode is. My calibrator's accuracy is +/-.3 hPa.
