I have a question (that may or may not have been already answered). The 2x 230v sockets in my Grenadier. How do I get them to provide power? They only seem to work with the engine running.

Hi all. Has anyone mounted a solar panel on or in between the roof cross bars? I've seen redarc sells brackets that allows a solar panel to be mounted in between the bars, just below the bar level. This allows the bars to be used (to a certain degree) without harming the panel. It would obviously stop it working if you load on top of it I don't think these particular brackets would work on the reconn bars due to width but I like the idea of having a panel permanently in place and still...

Hi Picked up my new Grenadier yesterday - wonderful 9 hour drive home to the north of Scotland. Central locking has stopped working for the front passenger door only. All other doors lock and unlock using fob as you would expect. Tried both fobs. Door not noticeably hanging differently to the other doors. Any thoughts on what i should look at first would be much appreciated. Many thanks

For those who have them, trying to decide which size. I’m old, so bigger screen is better but don’t want to overpower the dash area. Thanks!

Will be mounting a starlink mini to the roof soon, and looking for a way to power it off one of the switches. It only draws 60w max, so seems like a waste to use the other exterior roof plugs if I can avoid it (and allows more options for the future) Question- has anyone run wiring from one of the interior 1/2 wires to the roof, and if so what was your process? Who has put a Switch-Pros in their Grenadier? I'm trying to figure out where people have mounted the power module. I'm going to put it under the rear seat but where have others mounted it specifically? Has anyone found a bracket our plate that works well? My plan is to use the Agile Offroad mount in the overhead panel and run everything to the rear seat, just trying to figure out the best way to mount it under the seat.

CarPlay has worked for months, but started to get persnickety the last few days. Trouble connecting and then not connecting at all. then when trying to reconnect, the system hanging and not allowing any input or change the screen. Then, in a busy crowded airport parking lot, as I’m trying to back into a spot, the camera doesn’t show. Then it shows, but it s a picture every 5 seconds. The Aural back up warning works, but is slow- but no indications of ‘where’ in any of the graphics...

Just came across an interesting product from Racechip out of Europe. Their GTS 5 product has a version for the Grenadier. I appears as if it does not remap / overwrite your engine software but houses the software in a separate unit. With the optional phone app you can change drive modes from race to eco (not sure if you can do this while driving.... that might make me nervous) . I had my car at the agent for some issues to solve, one of which was the PDC sensor rear right. It produced a permanent alarm when reversing. When I got my car back after 10 days (there were more things to do), they told me the PDC problem was solved. It isn't. When reversing the same shit happens again: alarm without any obstacle around the vehicle. 😡 Since I don't believe they are just morons, there must be a different reason. I got my vehicle last September and prior to the first software update it received in about November 2023, when I put the vehicle into off-road mode, the main driving data screen (speedo-tacho etc) would change to an off-road specific screen. I had mentioned in @BenTN 's LED thread that I prefer halogen. I finally got around to booty-fabbing up a solution. I had some SIEM driving lights laying around I took off of a Euro Landcruiser 75 import. Drilled a hole in the back of the housing and another hole in the grill bucket. Ran a carriage bolt through with a wing nut and... Bob's your uncle. Just took out the OEM lights and tightened the halogen buckets against the OEM housing. I have the dual battery installation (Trialmaster). Since ownership the battery % has never shown more than 75%. I disconnected both batteries a couple of months ago and the percentage then jumped to 92%. This situation only lasted a few days before reverting to 69%. Now percentage shows 69%. Kept getting a high tire pressure warning even when I set my tires at lower pressures. So I then checked what pressures the car was reading vs two different tire gauges and the car is actually reading the tire pressure about 4psi higher than the gauges. Tried the reset function, but it didn't fix the problem. Dealer is over 3 hours away. Not sure if it's a calibration issue with the sensors or just poor quality sensors in the tires.
