Further re above - mechanic who did the job said it’s only ever been ‘early’ cars that they have replaced them on so he thinks they have changed something in the modules. Also reinforced, if connecting/disconnecting battery charger make sure it is switched off at the wall before doing so.

Thanks Bob. Hopefully they caught the problem in the early parts run.

The early builds are a mixed bag. My Feb 2023 has been very good overall but it hasn't been fault free. In some ways I think us early adopters were part of the undocumented PTO4 test fleet. But no ADAS. Winning

Yes, I must say my “early build” has been as good as problem free - had the odd “bing & bong” and orange engine warning light come up way back. Those probs prevented by a pause after ignition turned on and before starting, and consequent software upgrades eliminated them. This SCM failure would be the worst prob so far, annoying, but at least nothing that would stop the vehicle getting to a destination.

I am experiencing the same problem with my February 2023 Grenadier. All was fine in the morning, then in the afternoon yellow ESC light, 4 different warnings (ESC, TSA, steering, brake), wiper and low-beam lights working continuosly, while high beam and turning indicator not working…
Made it home and got in contact with INEOS Service. Was a bit difficult to communicate with the Operator (AA in Britain) but he finally promised to arrange a tow truck and a free rental car for 7 days. Got another call from German automobile assistance (ADAC) an hour after and we agreed on doing the towing and getting the rental car at daylight next morning.
Will update tomorrow.

My steering wheel control module failed and was replaced a few weeks back. I had no high beam , no indicators. Wipers permanently on, plus various warning messages.
