Sometimes I feel like people have forgotten what the Grenadier is about. It's not a luxury SUV, certainly not what I bought it for.

I didn't buy a car to get from A to B. I bought my Grenadier so A and B could be decided on the way.

The Grenadier is my permission to go wherever, whenever. End of the workweek; no plan, just a couple of beers in the fridge, dog in the back, and a rough direction. Coast, bush, hills - doesn’t matter much.

It’s not fast. It’s not smooth. But it’s solid, honest, and built for the kind of driving that turns into camping without warning. I can pull off the road, pop the roof, crack a beer. Dog already disappeared into the scrub. Dinner’s on.

I wouldn’t change a thing about my setup. It works. It’s simple, reliable (so far), and lets me get out of town without overthinking it. If I want to go, I go.

While some are out complaining their heated seats take too long to warm up, I’m bouncing down a trail in a rolling adventure machine. Windows down, dog grinning, and not a care in the world.

I love my Ineos Grenadier because it does exactly what I need it to—without fuss, without drama. It’s rugged, industrial, and built with real purpose, not just for show. Whether I’m cruising comfortably down the highway or picking my way through rough, unforgiving terrain, it feels solid, dependable, and ready for anything. It goes anywhere, anytime, no questions asked. Rain, snow, mud, or dry gravel roads—it never lets me down. It always starts, always runs, and always takes me exactly where I want to go. It’s not just a vehicle; it’s a trusted companion that’s built to work as hard as I do.

I feel now after driving her for some time that I know very well where she is on the road and track. It might sound a little silly but I feel when turning the key I am waking a robot that has me directing her around and to look after her. With all of the buttons, levers, peddles and a heart full of horses there is not much she won't or can't do. I think that she will go to that next level but it depends if my heart can match hers  .

He takes me wherever I want to go. He is robust and climbs well over uneven terrain. On the road, some people are surprised when I overtake them quickly. It's simply a joy to ride. I have no regrets about the Land Rovers I have sold. For me he is a step above them.

I agree with all the sentiments here, this is a vehicle that was built for a purpose. Most of us are unique drivers that value the purpose, and understand the pitfalls associated with such purpose. However, due to mass marketing, it is difficult to always assume that people “get it“. There is a segment of people that believe that it is a luxury SUV and such amenities should be associated with it. It is far from that. Many of us perform modifications that enhance the usability of the product. Some of us highly modify to alter the vehicle for the needs of our niche. Either way, the vehicle is amazing, overbuilt, and still a work in progress. As early adopters, we all need to understand that with time comes perfection. We are part of a revolution of people that are providing a vast amount of data to Ineos, that will surely help the perfection of this amazing platform, hopefully, for years to come.
