The long answer to, “What’s that you’re driving?!”

I tell people it's a kit car built on a Jeep chassis. It's interesting to note which people will actually give me the "yeah right" look. Never who you expect.

Are you “borrowing” from INEOS until you just return ?
Whatever it takes to not get bogged down in a 30 minute conversation every time I fill up. I learned that years ago when driving my first 911.

Or that awkward conversation
" is that a Grenadier?"
"Yes"
"What's it like?"
"Great, a couple of minor issues, good off road and a comfortable tourer"

There are never any people at the station when I fill up :ROFLMAO:

Outside a Home Depot I did have a quick convo with a well-informed potential owner. And another time, while parked in the contractor pick-up area for a load of 4” pvc pipe, I saw an all black new Defender (with all the lunchboxes, etc. bolted on…) parked and staring at my Gren. I know he drove immediately to his LR dealer to ask how to get one !!!
