Not totally sure I understand what these are! Do they hold the door cover/panel in place?

Yes - they connect the door panel/card to the door itself. I removed the panel yesterday and broke on off.

I picked up some of the door card clips today that were on back order from my agent. Can confirm that the clips I linked to back here are not the correct item but might still work in a pinch if you have already spent your $5 on them. Sorry about that .
The correct clip is Ineos PN GRA-0000-038210. This was under warranty so I don't have a price for them.

The Renault Citroen Peugeot door clips that @shiv.nandak found on eBay and linked to here are a much better physical match.
