Con techo alto. Wie bueno.
Das erinnert mich an eine Fahrt von Guatemala ciudad raus aufs land in einem Samurai.
Das war auch im letzten Jahrtausend…
Schön war es!

We had the Samurai in the US too and then we had the Sidekick. The former failed some swerve test by a TV show and was all but banished. The later - oft referred to as the “side-FLIP” did not do much better here. But people in the 4x4 community are Samurai fans because of the small size and off-road capabilities.

Yes they are incredibly good off-road. As they weight close to nothing and they are so manovrable. But maybe not the right car for four people over the weekend in the bushes 😬

These Suzukis are real "Bergziegen" as some call them here. Literally translated "Mountain Goats".

I love an old Willys, any pics?
Here you go,

Late May 1942 willys and 1943 Welbike.

Jeep is great to drive and although basic is ok in 2022 !!

Welbike - let's just say I can understand why the Para's just used to throw them away, I guess if I was 10 it would be a different answer.!

The daily is a Mach-E. The mistress is a '96 C4. The wife whips around a GLE350.

I’m in Canada and driving a 2004 Toyota Rav 4 that I’m trying to limp through until Grenadiers are available here.
It’s going to be one serious upgrade!

And couldn’t be soon enough. Somewhat debating getting a Bronco Everglades to tie me over for the next 12-18 months until the Grenadiers are in Canada but I’m guessing it’s a terrible financial plan.

I have a “perentie” that I just love. Rough and tough. Great for the beach lifestyle. The grenadier will be a great compliment for the longer trips. The partner is hoping the perentie will fall out favour once G arrives.

I got stuck in traffic yesterday and spent about 20 minutes sitting behind one of these (not this actual vehicle)
It looks significantly worse in real life
Did they run out of money, or did the designer go on holidays before he got to the rear of the vehicle?
Apart from the fact that everything above the bumper looks bland, the bumper looks like it has been in a significant crash.
As for below the bumper...........
At least they didn't follow the fake exhaust pipe trend.
They decided to share the entire mufflers.
Then someone must have said "let's get that unsightly spare wheel off the rear door", so they put it on display under the car
I guess that helps the departure angle, assuming that nice big scoop doesn't start acting like a plough.
Strangest design decisions I have seen for a while
