Howdy from NY: On the Hunt for a Grenadier - New vs Used?

Hey everyone, new to the forum and glad to be here. I’m not an owner yet, but I’m deep in Grenadier shopping mode and trying to learn as much as I can before jumping in. I’m seeing a lot of lightly used trucks out there with very low miles, which has me wondering how owners think about buying new vs grabbing a clean used one.

Any pros/cons you’ve learned along the way, things you’d do differently, or advice you’d give someone coming in fresh would be much appreciated. Looking forward to learning from y'all.

I would decide what options you want then look for a Grenadier with that equipment.

Many options are either impossible or very expensive to add.

So be careful when shopping for new or used. It can be difficult to determine the equipment from a advertisement.

IE - Hi-load aux power, lockers, safari windows, and saddle leather right off the top of my head.

Make sure you have the tow bar and electrics if you need them - fitting them in the aftermarket is no longer impossible, but it is a pain nonetheless.
