What did you do with your Grenadier today?

I would like to find some brushed aluminium switch guards, most seem to be shiny.

Any polished guards that you find can be changed to a brushed finish by using steel wool, a wire wheel/brush or Scotch pads.

Try the American site that sells the enlarged cup holders for the center panels, they have added them to the notary dial. Otherwise the chap doing the steering button guards might be able to make a couple.

Thanks. It also occured to me that I could give some shiny aluminium ones a rub down with 1500 paper to create the brushed look.

I did the camels in a different color for the tan hardtop on my Wrangler. It's just a matter of putting a different color vinyl in the cutter.

I'm sorry but I don't sell anything myself. I'm an independent designer and I've done hardware and soft goods (storage) designs for a bunch of Jeep and offroad trailer companies and recently I've been designing Grenadier products for Overland Outfitters (https://www.overland-outfitters.com/ineos-grenadier.html). If anything I design is going to be sold some company or someone else would have to do it, I don't want to be in the business of selling things.

You could definitely offer up the design for someone else to sell.
I get what you mean about selling stuff if you are busy enough with the main job.
Nice designs, I'm sure you could come up with some on a larger scale for the Grenadier too.

No high level switch panel on mine.
So fitted some switches.

Reasonably pleased, the switches are a different type although have white symbols/writing as per OEM. (I didn't want the regular Carling switches you see everywhere)View attachment 7912036

I like that they have labels. I have the high level switch panel and wanted labels so I added these:

I'm not using all of the switches yet but the labels can be swapped in and out of the label holders so when I find uses for the other switches I'll just slip a new label in. I used label holders like these, they are self-stick:

I added handles to the center rotary knob, mine are shiny but they also come in aluminum finish. I sourced them here, they are available in multiple sizes and they do have small ones in aluminum finish: https://www.mouser.com/c/industrial...acks-rack-cabinet-accessories/?q=hammond 1427

And BTW the black center on the knob is a simple circle cut from matte self-stick vinyl, I made it on my Cricut vinyl cutter.

Another source, although too large for switches on the overhead panel - I found these at the local home center (Home Depot). They are brushed aluminum and I'm using them to protect the outlets in the cargo area (one outlet is factory, the other I added).

My Grenadier spent most of the day at Chandlers of Belton having the door handles/locks changed and the front diff seal changed, all under warranty.

I swear the new keys are heavier than the old keys, but of course, I surrendered the old keys this morning.
