What did you do with your Grenadier today?

Continued with the electrical build in my Grenadier.

Installed another power distribution box for the auxiliary battery. This will supply power to the inverter, fridge, air compressor as well as receiving the input from the solar panels.

Haha - Just noticed in photo I have two supply line crossed over 🤔😱

Next project is to mount the ARB twin compressor. Jury is out as to where to mount it. Ideally I'm looking at mounting under the vehicle with remote intakes but finding a suitable location is proving difficult.

I like the install location where the invertor was to sit (LH Rear), but I'm put off by having to purchase the different side panel. Am mucking around with design concepts to see if I can 3D print a cover to cut into the side panel to allow for the additional room of the compressor and improve airflow for cooling so it may still be doable. However I will most likely go for installing under the passenger seat as this would be an easy solution.

Hi Nocrays,

If you check the thread steps added to rock sliders, you will see how I mounted 2 ARB compressors under my vehicle.

A bit of fun in Sacramento CA
Took pic after 4-5 others had already left

Took the family out in the Grenadier to Myrtle Beach this past weekend. Family had a blast. I got many compliments on the Grennie along the way, it’s also a G Wagon and Jeep magnet, once I'm back to it they're parked right next to it. Had fun driving it and no issues to report on this somewhat long trip!
