What did you do with your Grenadier today?

Went by KO in Framingham, MA a couple of weeks ago and fell gaga in love with their MM Quartermaster... especially with the 3/4 canvas installed, but as I have a station wagon, I had to 'settle' for the next best accessory: the GP Factor brush bar. Very pleased.

Changed the battery in the key fob. That’s the second time in 18 months, I’ve only done 11,000 miles and it gets used 2 or 3 times a week.

Anyone else noticed how quickly it eats batteries?

My battery has been in since the beginning. It's now 29 months old. About 3 months ago, I was told that the battery was low. I checked it with a multimeter and everything was fine. I then put it back in. There has been no message since then. I use the key fob on average twice a day.

Sounds like it is being activated when in your pocket, these buttons really are sensitive. Or you are using cheap Chinese 2032 batteries. I once bought a batch online that turned out to be Chinese replicas, ended up changing them almost weekly. Now only buy top branded batteries.

43,000 kms and 18 months later and still on the same battery.
I only ever use one key so no idea if the spare is still ok.
