What did you do with your Grenadier today?

Not "today", but Friday... Did a lot of winching while scouting a property with some good friends... The plan is to develop part of this property into dedicated off road trails, so we were finding routes and jumping between previous logging "trails" (what I'm winching onto in this photo)

Keep us Mid-Atlantic folks posted. Would love to volunteer to help out with some sweat equity. No winch yet but as long as you're there to pull me out if needed... Lol!

There should be several updates coming in the next few months regarding local-ish properties to our area, some big and good things are coming

Today I was travelling along a country road when I saw a police vehicle with a horse trailer on a country lane. I turned round at the first opportunity and drove along the officially closed road to the vehicle. It was a VW Anorak (I always call it that) with a double horse trailer and 2 policewomen with their beautiful horses. I told them about my love of horses and off-road vehicles and asked if they wouldn't prefer a real off-road vehicle instead of a wannabe off-roader. At first they looked irritated, but then they were curious. They didn't know the Grenadier. They told me that they had a Disco 2 in the past, which was much better on wet meadows than this Volkswagen. I told them to suggest to their boss that they take a look at the Grenadier. They were welcome to get in touch with me. They probably won't do that. But as Bond said, ‘Never say never again’. Unfortunately, they didn't allow me to take a photo. By the way, the fact that I was driving on a forbidden road was not mentioned at all.

Amazon delivered via DHL my Climair Window visors. Quick install, need to drive on highway to see if I hear a noise reduction. I don't have a RAI so I should notice right away.

VW Anorak - same here 👍

I recently had the Diabolical drawer and shelf installed in the back of my Fieldmaster. I’m very happy with the fit and quality of both the drawer and the shelf.

I was worried that this may result in rattles while driving, but no. The quality is great. The service department at RDS Grenadier in Devon, PA did a terrific job with the install.

The top shelf takes away a very minor part of the top of the rear windows, but doesn’t obstruct things much at all.

I’ve used the drawer for carrying equipment to and from the gun range. It fits quite a lot.

The photo shows before I put the matting down in the drawer and on top of the unit.

I like the idea of them...can you take pics please? (y)
Here you go, I ordered the smoke grey, they look darker because of the grey sky and the 30% tinted window. I ordered the front to test but now I want to order the rear. It's a 6 month wait for them to arrive to US. You have to order via Amazon for us.

Tried out two more b-day 'gifts'. Ordering items for my parents and tacked two items in to their order and told them to put them in a gift bag and it was just what I wanted! Folks were very happy to do so. Got the Rhino tire deflator set. Did a test. Set to 20psi and when I put the Dewalt on to re-inflate it read 21.5. Pretty close. Need to do a test where I set all 4 the same setting and check how all 4 perform. Just an initial test today. I also suffer from the loss of one of plugs by the windshield wipers. Don't know why the plugs exist but someone else on the forum had posted to these silicone ones from Amazon. Sub $8 and I got a couple spares. Kinda of a tight fit. Glad I could crawl on my fenders treadplate. You can tell the OEM one is hard plastic and the replacement is soft silicone but it beats a hole.
@4x4Brick #1561 - do you have a link to these plugs? I am missing one as well. I guess this is a pretty common issue that these don't stay in place?

Swapped to larger tires (actually yesterday). Now 275/70r18, from stock 255/70r18. Now at 33.4” coming from the stock 32.1” diameter tires. More pics and info the wheel and tire upgrade thread.
