Hello together,

it looks like that I'm not the only one who is searching for explanations where water gets ino the Grenadier.
Reminds me a lot to the times I was driving Defender.
Here in Germany we developed a water ingress manual to help members finding and fixing the problem with water in the trucks.

To me it looks like a good idea to do the same for the Grenadier!(y)

As I started to search in this Forum for informations I had to check various posts.

Lets start do develop a reading where members that get into the same situation can find answeres as a checklist.

So far I'm not ready to bring any contribution to it, because I did not find the place where water gets into my Grenadier

I would recommend that everybody who wants to make a contribution quotes, the post before (not the introduction:cool:) that the informations get updated permanently.

Thanks to everybody taking part in developing a WaterWiki!

Best regards Sauerländer

On lifting the mat on the right hand side of my Grenadier I noted that area was on the wet side. Will be monitoring, carefully.

I think there are a few potential issues.
1 Water gets in through the door seal from the foot wash issue, most of these should have been fixed by now.
2 Water is finding its way through the bulkhead from the HVAC system. This will always be in the passenger footwell, left or right hand drive.
3 Leaking safari windows.
4 Windscreen seal.

All of the above issues have been reported on here at one point or another. Although I don't know how common each is...
I had the foot wash but the seal was fixed, and it's been fine since.
