This is a bit of a strange one. I have a vinyl tonneau cover fitted to the back of my QM. Just want to get some air circulating under it as it is black in the hot Aussie sun. I know there are gaps around the tailgate, but I am thinking of installing a fan up near the cab to suck in some air and move around the covered space. Because it is vinyl, can't install in the cover. Anyone have some suggestions on mounted fans for say canopy tops that can be installed in the side of the tub? I am thinking on the back of the tub between the cab and the tub.
Just looking at ideas. Thanks.

12V boat bilge blowers are what you're after. They're waterproof and made for moving air in enclosed spaces. You can mount one in the front wall of the tub. Run the wiring to a switch on your dash. It's the most common fix for exactly this problem.

Thanks for this. Does it need too be vented to the outside? As in cut a hole in the tub for air to pass through?
