Just appealed them on their website. They don't have the option of "my vehicle is in fact exempt (morons)"I would write back saying that I am not willing to submit documents to prove it wasn't chargeable, and that I would take legal action if they continue to harass me.
Not the right way to do it, but very satisfying.
A succession of fools having been voted as mayor (Livingstone, Johnson, Khan) explains it all.
Checked already and yes exemptYou can check your car against their portal. Definitely says no charge to me.
Check your Vehicle
tfl.gov.uk
Trust should be pretty clear then. Just send them to their own website. What a painD

It's no surprise then that they are 'owed' so much money, Sadiq Khan is saying he will bankrupt people who don't pay. Sounds like the people asking for the money are moraley bankrupt.View attachment 7909451Are they having a laugh? On my appeal I sent them screenshots from both ULEZ & TFL website ulez checker.
They want me to get a letter from the INEOS with evidence of emissions, and within 14 days?!
I'm abroad atm and really feel like telling them where to go & to take me to court if they can't be arsed to do the checks themselves.
The whole system is bankrupt...all set up for the elite to get more powerful and the rest of us to be controlled. Definitely designed to get tje plebs off the road and away from their favourite destinations. The whole system is bankrupt...all set up for the elite to get more powerful and the rest of us to be controlled. Anyways....
Their response is on the assumption that it is not a standard vehicle. That is not the case, and their request is out-of-order.View attachment 7909451Are they having a laugh? On my appeal I sent them screenshots from both ULEZ & TFL website ulez checker.

I just received not one, but two ULEZ fees. The Gren is exempt just in case anyone faces the same issue in the future. They really are buggers.
Habe gerade nicht nur eine, sondern gleich zwei ULEZ-Gebühren erhalten. Die Grünen sind davon ausgenommen, falls jemand in Zukunft das gleiche Problem hat. Die sind echt übel.

Guilty until proven innocent.View attachment 7909451Are they having a laugh? On my appeal I sent them screenshots from both ULEZ & TFL website ulez checker.

No longer in the UK. If you own a car, have it registered to your address, have insurance and a driving licence you are guilty until you can prove your innocent.Guilty until proven innocent.
and making the process the punishment.
They're making people prove a random car isn't theirs! They really are bottom feeders. TFL aren't really saying the vehicle details aren't correct, they just want me to prove the Ineos Grenadier, any & all of them, are exempt. Even though their own website says that they are.Their response is on the assumption that it is not a standard vehicle. That is not the case, and their request is out-of-order.
I had something similar when going over the Dartford Bridge in my old Defender. The first time, they said I didn't pay the right charge but backed down on it and the second time they sent someone elses vehicle to me saying I hadn't paid. I pointed out that it was not my vehicle but they insisted it was and asked me for evidence it wasn't. I couldn't prove a negative but I did call DVLA who confirmed it wasnt my vehicle. I wrote back, accusing them of attempted fraud as DVLA confirmed that vehicle is not registered to me and I never heard from them again. I would suggest you contact DVLA and ask them if your vehicle details are registered correctly, as Transport for London are claiming they are not. When DVLA confim they are, you can then be confident in giving them a polite FO knowing that DVLA have the right data and their request is wrong.
