Hi

Anyone experienced issues when going from High to Low or Low to High and the gears making a grinding noise (quiet not loud)

Is it just a adjustment in the control, also the lock on the lever is very hard to move

Locking the centre works fine - except for that lock

I’ve tried another one and its perfectly fine and smooth (they lent me a loaner)

Dealer is looking at it - but anyone have any information to help

Yes, first few times I tried going from high (unlocked) to Low ( unlocked). Found that going from high (unlocked) to high (locked) and then down to Low (locked) was easier. Hoping it gets easier with use. If not will ask the dealer to investigate.

I found if you can let the vehicle roll a bit whilst going between high and low it shifts easily. Granted your not always Ina situation where you can let the vehicle roll a bit such as in soft sand or mud on level ground. Oh and don’t forgot to have the main shifter in neutral.

Keeps happening to mine
Doesn’t happen in the loaner vehicle they gave me

Dealer is silent on it - that and a bunch of other issues

Ronny Dahl even had it in his video

I have had it grind the last three times I went from low to high. I was going from 4lo to 4hi unlocked IIRC. Made a horrible racket. When I mentioned to the dealer, he said that it I needed to move a bit to make it smoother.

So keep it in drive?

It’ll definitely grind then 😂
Ha! Yes, that would, I think probably more just have sitting still and not braked. Like I said, I haven’t had a chance to play with it yet. Not terribly sure, but I may have parked it and had it going from Park to neutral, but I would’ve had the hand break on.

You can move the high - low, CDL lever with the engine off so I operated it like that first a few times to get the feel of the gate and level travel first, to realise how forceful I needed to be rather than pussy foot being " gentle"
