I know there are threads with tyre pressure issues, but I have just come across a weird problem. Yesterday after a 50 mile drive I was getting close to home, I decided to turn the temperature sub menu, in the off road setting. (It has been -8°C the previous couple of nights and still was below freezing.) I was curious to check the tyre temperatures. To my surprise my right rear was 25 psi, while the others were 36psi. But no warnings blinking. As I approach home it dropped to 24psi. But after another 0.5 mile rose back to 25 psi. As it was mid day, the friendly tyre garage was still open, so decided to have a cup of tea, then manually checked the trye pressure and if it was a puncture get the garage to fix it. However returning to the vehicle it didn't look deflated, so checked the infotainment screen. This time the left rear was 25 psi and the right rear back up to 36psi.
Anyone else come across this weird behaviour of the infotainment system. I'll check it again when I use the vehicle on Monday after it has had a sleep

I had a mis-read on one of the nearside tyres after driving for a few hours. I normally run 36psi all round. It was showing in the 20's somewhere. Lasted all day. Manually checked at it was 38-40psi as was warm. Never had it jump around from one corner to another. Not certain if faulty read in the car or a fault at the tyre....... Has been fine since.

I’ve had the OEM sensors do this. No idea on the fix. My aftermarket wheels have Autel sensors and they don’t do this. They do however all disappear for a few hours about once every 2 months. No idea on this. TPMS is dumb, we did just fine with manually checking the tires regularly.

tpms is great, the grenadier implementation is just terrible

I was just quoted $1248.00 for an OEM set of TPMS sensors from the Dilawri Ineos dealership . They've lost their minds.$279.80 for aftermarket that have "no issues". Each tire change means reprogramming and they won't tell you what the sensors are so you can buy a tool for home programming. Very annoying. Has anyone had any good luck with aftermarket? If so, which ones.

Also - anyone add the Apex TPMS Air Down bracket without issue?

Yes, search Autel Sensor and the step by step to reprogram at home. You’ll need and Autel TS508 or TS508wf tool as well. I sunk $300 and now can reprogram any time I need to rotate tires.
