I love my Grenny, but the thing I most dislike, as the driver, is getting in and out of the thing. Compared to most cars, the door opening is rather small, but what's worse is that annoying hard ridge on the door side of the seat. It prevents you from simply sliding out of the car when you are exiting, and further, it crushes my nuts trying. You have to grab the bar and lift yourself up to get over the hump and then try to safely get your feet on the ground while hanging from your arm. It's quite uncomfortable. Has anyone here re-shaped the seat hump? I'd like it to be about the same height as the seat. I've been thinking of having an auto seat shop do the job but I'd probably have to remove the entire seat or at least the lower cushion and that is probably prohibitive. Ideas?

I have side steps on mine.
To get in I grab the rain gutter
Step up on to the side step and stand upright
Then just step into the car, left foot for me on rhd but for you it would be right foot first
To get out I just reverse the process.

I just chuck my left leg up and hoist myself in. Easy peasy, but then again, I’m 40kg lighter than I was this time last year.

Yeah, getting in is easier. There's no nut crunching slide over the berm.

I personally cannot stand to see ANY lower and upper bolster wear on any of my cars which includes factory carbon buckets.

IG is a sofa in comparison. I got the factory A pillar grab handle to always lift myself up and over so the bolsters don't get so much as even a whiff of my stinky bum.

It reads more like an issue with the scrotum size and location. How old are you? Perhaps it’s just old man ball sag. You could be due for a ball lift, you know, get em’ high and tight like they were when you were 15 and desperately trying to contain the spontaneous hard on in coed gym while watching Jennifer bounce around with her new boobs playing soccer.

Few things worse than a lose pair of swim trunks permitting that old floppy change purse to let its contents slide under your thigh while exiting a tall truck.

This could be covered under insurance if there’s low testosterone as a co morbidity.

Don’t be offended, or ashamed, We’re all about solutions, and moving on here. Besides, there are likely other closet flappysacks looking for a solution too.

You should try getting in and out of some Senna seats in the 600LT.... lol might as well tape them up.

Install the left side grab handle. Makes a huge difference.
I have the tougher seat covers and you don't slide easily on those, the grab handle makes a huge difference.
