Europe Technical and Maintenance manuals

Solution
When will we have access to the 'before launch' "promised" maintenance and technical manuals?
Some of us are already owners since more than two years, and no access at all!
Obviously Lynn had an answer prepped for this, we warned the team that this was something that would get into the conversation regardless of how the upvoting went on the topics in this section of the forum.

I'm paraphrasing here but I'll pull the answer verbatim from the recordings later.

Access will start rolling out in the next 2 weeks. This will be granted by VIN, lowest vins will get access sooner until all vins are covered.

We followed up with the reason for that.

We built the manuals and parts system for dealer/agents use only. The system...
It will end up in one of these

Land Rover did the same thing and made their service manuals a subscription service. Think it was $10 or $15 per month.

Someone at some time took the online version, downloaded the whole thing, and made it a pdf. It's a lot of work.
I did it for some of LR4 Topix pages, so I wouldn't have to sign up again. It was a lot of work.

Have you received confirmation and how to actually access the system after you pressed "submit"?
No - the system mentioned that it might take up to six weeks between application and access, so I‘m not refreshing my inbox every two seconds - yet.

Interesting. That wasn’t mentioned in my encounter. Maybe something that has been added since.

If the accounts have to be setup manually, probably one person is assigned the task. Let's say he/she can do 12/hour. That's around 400 odd/week.500 with no interruptions
How many early adopters?
2000?
There's potentially 5 weeks of the 6.
Of course this is just speculation. But Ineos prides itself on corporate leanness.

The 5 to 6 six weeks and gives Ineos time to know numbers, clear every applicant, move applicant data to the software company making the manual and to prepare their service departments for when the system slows or crashes from all the excited Ineos owners simultaneously logging on for a look.

Got mine yesterday and submitted it.

Not sure If anyone has actually seen, but this is NOT a Haynes manual. I got to use it with spare parts when looking for and buying stuff.

Its quite detailed and goes from an over view to zoom in to detailed layer view. As you delete parts you dont want to see, drilling into what you want. It is very much a "slicer" with pieces in 3d and able to be rotated.

There is no way i can imagine you would download this in a pdf.

Given its obvious size and detail. The system is SLOW (it was at the dealers) and I suspect this is a major part of limiting accces. Its is clear just a MASSIVE system

Images below are from the RHS guard assembly as I was trying locate the bracket
