Finally had time to install my Strek Side Steps.
-Nice looking, solid and easy to install.
- No directions came with the steps but did include some extra hardware.
- Lighter than the OEM steps.
Couple notes:
- The IG stock steps were missing a couple bolts and nuts. Upon removing the rest, I noticed Ineos does not use locking nuts nor washers. The Strek hardware is has locking nuts, locking washers as well. I attached a pic. The OEM hardware is together on the left.
- I used a jack to put the side steps in place while assembling.
- Some of the preassembled bolts on the steps needed to be tightened.
If anyone is interested in the OEM side steps, feel free to message me. I saved the original hardware.
