Sourcing a random riser is yet another part to solve and transport it around. Purpose of Buying these drawers is to eliminate diy effort and have a reasonably bespoke & well integrated solution.

Honestly, removing the seat cushions is super easy if you need the extra head room. Might take a second or two longer, but I think it would be well worth the hassle to put the seat cushion in the floor well if you truly need a 3rd or 4th seat. I plan on doing that for my solo trips with my pup. I don’t need much honestly

If you remove the seat cushion, you need a solution to fill that gap. I have seen some people put a stack of containers on the rear footwell, so one can rest their feet on it (head towards the rear doors). But that is yet another messy compromise.
