So, knowing what you know, would you buy it again?

You are accurate.

I do believe a few things could have been done a bit better in terms of going old school but they don't bother me.

One question I would love to get a non biased answer to from the forum is this. If the Grenadier had been built exactly how it exists today with or without the quirks but it looked like a Cyber Truck or maybe even just a Ford Escape would you have still bought it? Let's start that poll.
Cybertruck - Yes
Ford Escape - Yes
Pontiac Aztek - Maybe
Plymouth Prowler - No
PT Cruiser - No
Nissan Cube - No

I'm guessing if a Cyber Truck looked like a Grenadier, I'd probably have one. ;)

I'm with you though, the styling is a big factor in all of this. If we were just after utility then there are definitely many options. Friend of mine recently asked me: Why didn't you just get a Rubicon? For what i do with the vehicle, I'm actually not sure I have a great answer to that! But it's been fun owning the Gren.

I traded a Rubicon for the Grenadier. Had Wranglers for over a decade, but just not big enough for kiddo and two large dogs and towing the camper with it was a pain. Grenadier allows me to retain most of the off-roading ability but also accommodate the family dinosaurs and tow more than a couple of sandwiches.
