2024 ( Petrol ) Ineos Trialmaster with ( OEM ) RED integrated winch

We’ve added the following components over the last year - Most of which occurred over the last few weeks:

Alu-Cab Silenus RTT - Replaced the roof grab rails with black ones from GrenadierUSA and upgraded the struts.
Make sure you request the “heavier load” ( 500N or 800N ) struts if you’re going to put load bars, solar panels etc.
on the RTT…

We’ve also coated the top of the rear bumper with 3M Safety Walk as an anti-slip coating for rear cargo area entry
and exit.

Alu-Cab 270 Shadow Awning with Alu-Cab awning gutter

Alu-Cab Molle Panels for Joolca ( HOTTAP pumped hot / cold ) water system and
Propex ( PS2000 Portable ) heater on driver’s side with VAAST 18L water tank on passenger side.

We used Integral’s Molle mounts for mounting the HOTTAP pump and quick release mount to the Alu-Cab
Molle Panels.

HOTTAP modifications:
We’ve hacked the HOTTAP to expose a 60C ( 140F ) cutoff - Joolca actually supporting this modification [5]
is one of the reasons why we went with this system. It’s highly recommended. We also added the top vent directional
cover from 813 Fabrications since we want to run the HOTTAP on the Molle Panel when convenient. The HOTTAP pump
bracket is also from 813 Fabrication.

ROAMRest custom mattress for the Silenus RTT - HEST stuff for bedding since they’re close to us.
300W Solar Array - 6 x 50W Sunflare XPLOR BLOX panels.
Buzz Overland Big Brake Kit ( red of course ) along with Buzz door steps.

REDARC BCDC ALPHA50 12V 50A DC Battery Charger
REDARC ALPHA150 12V 150AH Lithium ( Auxiliary ) Battery
LRA ( Brown Davis ) Auxiliary Fuel Tank - We’re coating the tank with a 3M rubberized undercoat before
installation. We ordered ours with the upgraded fuel transfer pump and this appears [7] to be a Carter P4070.

Braid Fullrace T Dakar Wheels with ( Agile Offroad ) Apex RPV + TPMS brackets
Victron Orion-Tr 12V / 24V 5A Isolated DC DC Converter - Used for Starlink Mini via external mini-Anderson.
LETECH Multi-Function rear ladder - We’ve put another 18L LIFESAVER Jerry for water in this location.

Wolfbox G900Pro rear view mirror with 67Designs mount since the rear is packed with gear.

Ineos ( OEM ) front and rear “black” springs - We’re thankful to the forum experts for documenting the
relevant model numbers since we didn’t have access to the Ineos tech portal when we ordered them.

GrenadierUSA machined center console ( looks cool ) and cargo wall L-tracks.
GP Factor folding tailgate table and Starlink Mini mount - Powered through external mini-Anderson
port on the driver’s side ( see below ).

Agile Offroad’s ARB Onboard ( brushed single compressor ) Air Kit - stashed under the rear bench seat
and plumbed into the rear cargo area on the passenger side.

Abenteuer 4x4 Rock Sliders - Wanted to minimize any loss of ground clearance or change in ramp angle.

REDARC Tow-Pro EBC - Mounted under rear bench seat with dial adjustment in center console ( in front of e-brake ).
Guzzle H20 ( Stream ) water purifier - We typically draw from local ( non-potable ) sources in our region so JIT
filtration / purification is a great idea for us.

GrenX Aluminum Snorkel System with Sealed Airbox ( OEM styled variant ) - Decided on a Volant Donaldson
PowerCoreG2 ( pod ) air filter [2] since we’re planning on a fair bit of desert travel next year. We’ve ordered a
UNIFILTER oiled pre-filter ( PRECLEAN 67/3 ) for the snorkel [3]. See [6] for images of the pre-filter.

See [8] for a brief discussion ( including images ) of the default filter shipping with the GrenX petrol sealed
airbox.

Other bits:
Rosen visors and SUMA ( convex ) mirrors from Owl - Wanted these for the Molle panels.
Black Sheep Innovations display sun visor for the head unit - Seems to minimize the glare a bit.
Owl CNC machined replacement rear door and bonnet handles ( red of course ).

Agile Offroad ( Baja Designs ) offroad grill lights - AUX1 with dimmer support at the moment.
We wanted to leverage the existing Auxiliary ( offroad ) lighting switch since it no longer serves any purpose…

Baja Designs ( passenger / driver ) scene lights ( 2 x S2 Sport ) - Switched externally since these
are powered through roof mounted DTPs - @Loc Nar’s post [1] was inspiration for that feature.

The remaining roof mounted DTP ports ( sans lighting ) are used as needed for the HOTTAP pump and igniter,
Propex igniter, and charging the Guzzle H2O Stream purifier.

Baja Designs reverse lights ( 2 x S2 Sport - attached via Leitner Designs chase light brackets )
GME GMRS ( compact ) radio with KAON LHS ( driver side ) antenna mount - We’ve gone with the XRS
Connect Outback Pack for our GMRS radio system.

Clear ClimAir Wind Deflectors for the front and rear passenger and driver side windows.

Forgot to mention:
Goose Gear CampKitchen and rear plate system ( driver side ) - We’re running a National Luna Legacy Smart 50L
fridge / freezer and Cook Partner 22” ( 2 burner ) stove within the CampKitchen module.

A few bits from the Grenadier Works store too ( the interior rear door handle is awesome ) - Console mounting bracket for
a 67Designs tablet mount, license plate light shrouds, map light glare shields, interior rear door handle, and L-track accessory
nuts.

MaxTrax setup for Silenus [4]:
One Alu-Cab load bar ( 1450 mm length ) with low profile ( flat ) mounts.
KAON stealth flush folding Maxtrax & TRED mounts to suit platform racks.
KAON Maxtrax mounting pin set - 17mm thread.

I hope KAON sends me stickers this time

The additional mass is under ~700 lbs ( ~318 KG ) for this build - including supplies. I’d consider that pretty good. We’re using this for longer term ( multi-month / year ) international travel so it’s not really intended to be a rock or mall crawler.

So it looks like our GrenX sealed snorkel and airbox system will arrive tomorrow so we’re ( finally ) on track to schedule snorkel, airbox / pod filter, LRA ( Brown Davis ) Auxiliary tank, and REDARC electronic brake controller installation. This just about completes the build.

Yeah we have a pretty good mix of US, CN, EU, AUS, and SA at this point. It’s like the UN on wheels ( lol ).

We’ve had great luck with AUS and SA merch for camping / travel over the years ( why you can’t get a camp oven worth a sh*t in the US is utterly beyond me. Oh wait it’s because no one actually cooks anything beyond hamburgers and / or hot-dogs when they travel outdoors over here… ) so the tradition continues within our Grenadier.

BTW someone living in AUS needs to ask ( or beg ) OZ Braai to start shipping to the US again. I need to buy more cooking gear.

When did you last check this?
I don't know Oz Braai's situation but
Australia Post and their freight arm Startrack put a temporary pause on shipping to the USA because they didn't have a stateside agent to collect payments for CBP after the round of tariff adjustments made in late August. That stopped a lot of parcel and light freight going to the USA. It has been rectified since but not all businesses have resumed shipments to the USA due in part to the added administrative requirements.

I don't know Oz Braai's situation but
Australia Post and their freight arm Startrack put a temporary pause on shipping to the USA because they didn't have a stateside agent to collect payments for CBP after the round of tariff adjustments made in late August. That stopped a lot of parcel and light freight going to the USA. It has been rectified since but not all businesses have resumed shipments to the USA due in part to the added administrative requirements.

Yeah I’m quite aware of the clusterf*ck “Agent Orange” caused… My Crashpad order was the first one they attempted to send into the US after that disaster. Concerning OZ Braai - I’ve been checking once every week or so. As far as I can tell OZ Braai doesn’t want to deal with NA customers at this point because of < leave this blank for political correctness >.

Honestly I can’t say I blame them. I’d still love to give them some of my money though…

Awesome build @KristinaM ! Quite a few similarities between our builds, I have yet to move into the realm of the Silenus, but in the next couple years perhaps!

I'm installing my GrenX snorkel over the next couple days, let me know how yours goes.

Once the kinks are worked through ( over the next year or so ) we’re planning on tackling the Pan-American highway…

Pan-American is high on my list as well, likely will kick off with a trip down the Baja peninsula, since it's quite close to me.

Re installs:

• I'll let you know how the snorkel goes. I see you're going with the Donaldson filter if I read that correct?
• Also keen to hear how the long range tank install goes.
• The trailer brake controller was a snap with the Agile mount for in the rear power center. I have the same electrical build out as you all, love it!

Also, I'm like you all, enjoy the conglomeration of Australian, South African, Kenyan, Canadian, American, British, Polish, German, Japanese, etc. parts layered in my Grenny build as well. Reminds me of my times living abroad and throughout Africa with previous Land Cruiser's and Nissan Patrol's.
