Australasia Side lights

Fitted up some side lights today, very pleased with them. 2 x Stedi Micro Touch V2 Dual Colour 13.9" and Motorcycle Mounting Bracket 2Pcs 0.75" 1" 1.25" Horizontal Bull Bar Mounting Bracket. Plugged into roof top power outlets using Deutsch DTP plugs.

Look great! I just have a cheap 300mm LED strip mounted on both sides. Curious does your's have a dimmer? I am looking at adding one to each strip.

Have the same on one side of my car, going to add one to the other side soon, they're bright! I went straight unto the STEDI vice clamp mounts.

Was looking for them to mount these lights the same way on the QM.

I have just installed similar Stedi Micro Touch Dual Colour 7.8 inch lights to the grab rail.
First step was to snip off the smaller DP plug and replace it with a DTP. The cable is very short, if I were to do it again I would probably leave the manfacturers plug attached and fashion an adaptor.
Next step was to 3D print some clamps to attach the light to the grab rails. I opted to print my own rather than use commercial clamps becase the fastenings were designed to come in from the rear of the commercial bracket which is difficult to access when the braket is attached to the rail.
Pics attached. Pretty happy with it, the light has two touch switches so you can turn them on or off from outside without having to access the roof switch panel. Also means that, since 3 of the roof outlets are all wired to the one interior switch, you can have other lights on the same circuit and switch them on or off as needed.

Damn, thats a lot of light output!

We have one 7.8 inch Stedi dual color on each side, realy like it at camp, has a nice flood on the sides of the car.

I feel unintelligent. Playing with one I purchased and can’t figure out the touch functions.

How do you turn it on/off?
Switch colors?

Sort of figured out dimming, but the rest is lost on me

To turn it off: Short press (if you long press it changes brightness instead), bit tricky to get the timing right
Switch colours: It has a separate button on each side for each colour, they run separately (you can have them both on or off at once etc.)
