Mine cracked on Saturday with the 0° weather and the defrost on high, and a small rock chip.
I have State Farm $0 deductible here in Colorado and Safelite will do the replacement. Safelite buys the glass from Ineos, there is no after market glass yet.
Then I will need to have Red Noland calibrate it ($375). And submit that to the insurance.

Question - why does it need calibration? The glass should be the same thickness at the same angle to the camera, there should be no change. We don't calibrate our cameras when we change the lens, this is the same thing. I guess I will learn next week.....
Is there a special seal required? Does the safari window drainage play in that space? I have had no leaks and didn't want Safelite to open that issue for me.

Was quoted north of $3100 by the dealer. Local glass place quoted about $2400 but 3-4 weeks for the windshield

So just put in to replace my windshield. This will be #3. The 2nd had a crack about a month after install. Currently has 2 additional cracks and a few rock strikes. Lead time is 3-4 weeks. Local glass shop arranged glass purchase from KO and I have to pay for pick up from the dealer as insurance will not pay for the pickup. Price from local shop is just over $2k. You can see one of the other cracks to the right near the RAI.

You should get that crack in your wall sorted out Angus. At least it missed the window (y)
