Maybe there is a thread on this, but I have not found it.

How is the patina developing on the saddle leather package? Can owners post pics of their Steering Wheels, Brake levers, and Grab Handles to show how they are wearing? Before I add this package I want to see how well the leather is "wearing in". Plus add in how long you've had it and how many miles you have so we can try to determine wear in by time and mileage.

Like all leather the wear reflects care.
Mine gets a monthly clean and conditioning. And if parked in strong sun , a reflective cover.
It should last decades.
If you are a farmer or mechanic or similar with oft filthy and rough hands it won't hold up quite so well.
But be assured , it's quality leather and as I and others have previously posted , a non regrettable choice.
I wouldn't say the same for the seats, which is why I don't have them in cars. Too much care required.

There is a British person on YT who seems to be using theirs for Agricultural use and oddly optioned the saddle leather package (in pretty much his own words), it never get cleaned and is absolutely filthy, oily hands etc. Grime is in the embossed wording on the wheel but it was holding up really well despite the abuse.

I'll try to find his channel.

If it is saddle leather it will just wear like a old baseball glove and feel better with wear.... Wish they had it in black for when I got mine. lol

I definitely plan on maintaining the leather like any other highend piece of leather kit, but I won't baby it either. If I come out of the backcountry covered in dirt, I won't wait to wash up before hoping in and driving it. I'm actually hoping it will help add the "weathered" patina........and with correct leather care, still keep it nice and supple.

I'd love to see pics if you have them.

My plan is to have the Saddle package in a Mushroom Trialmaster.

Mine looks pretty much like new after 2 years but it has been cared for. Patina aside, I would 100% get the saddle leather again - it's fantastic, especially in comparison to the standard "leather." I hemmed and hawed but was thankfully talked into it by the accolades presented here.

Exactly my experience as well.

Thank you for the video. Everyone's comments are definitely help me feel better about wanting to go with Saddle.

Would have like to have it, but not bothered that I don't. Still enjoy the ride either way
