I used ROyal Purple Motor oil in a Acura TSX I owned and the garage owner swore by it in all of their trucks and car. I have to say I sold the car with 228,000 miles and it still ran great. Would this be a better oil in the BMW gas engine than average synthetic oils on the market? Thank you all for any input!

Royal Purple oil specialises in synthetic oil manufacturing and blending with proprietary additives. It's available in Australia and is considerably more expensive than other brands because it's a full group IV POA synthetic oil and should easily cope with and likely last beyond the factory oil change intervals. Automotive lubricants are interesting and it's a bit surprising what can be called synthetic oil.
