anyone know if Voager will be out with their rack soon? I really love the old school look and no one seems to be doing this.

Update here…

I just keep loving the Leitner system even more. A 12mm wrench and loosening 4 nuts makes it really easy to take the two bars, toolbox, and water tank off as 1 piece to store in the garage. I just leave the mounting brackets on the Grenadier. I also needed to empty water tank and toolbox first so it was light enough to lift up a few inches to remove from the mounting brackets.
How do you like their ACS/Active Cargo System on their Load Bars? Is it restrictive in any way? I'm thinking not on their Load Bars since you can simply pull off the plastic end caps easily to insert any length bolt you like as long as the bolt head fits in the slot. Unlike if you went with their full or 3/4 rack which the plastic end caps don't exist as each cross-bar is closed off by the rack's frame which I do not like. Load Bars are their recommended solution for a RTT or a ski box & IMO will be easiest to remove by a single person if & when needed.

Anyone out there have the Bison-Gear or Big Country 4x4's full or 3/4 racks? What do you like & dislike about them?
The Big Country's is out of Austrailia & is 100% welded.

It’s great having T slots on all 4 sides. I’ve encountered 2 types of restrictions so far, neither are deal breakers for me, but more of like things to be aware of.

#1 They have to be positioned at 1 of 6 mounting points. That’s like 15 combinations, but if you can’t make one of them work, the OEM ones that clamp onto the gutter are 100% adjustable.

#2 They are 2” thick, so if you are using mounting hardware that came with what you’re trying to mount, it might be too short. My 10 gallon water tank has brackets that clamp around a load bar, not using the T slots for that, and I had to run to Home Depot to get longer bolts.

Also, the load bars won’t work with the Clevershade Ultralite awning - or with Leitner’s gear pods. You have to have the rack for those. The load bars are still better for my purposes.

I've had the Bison for over a year now. It works great.
