My wagon is at Oxnard port. Green wagon.
Already purchasing stuff for it. Anyone know the exact diameter of the roof grab rail ? I want a copper grab rail.
What would a 2 foot length of solid copper weigh ?

Thanks ,
Phillip

That should be about 10lbs of weight.

Copper will look fantastic with the green Grenny!
Sure will! Copper will develop a wonderful green patina (green rust) .. like the patina on the optional leather steering wheel as it ages😎

For structural integrity, I'd suggest you use a thick walled tube rather than a solid rod. Even better, perhaps, a thick walled polished brass tube will be even stronger.. and brighter!

Based on 1" x 24" stock - around 5.8lbs. US$100-120 (each) depending on the purity including new stock or recycled.
You would need to polish and clear coat it periodically..
Overkill for a grab rail but it would look purty.
Anodised aluminium would be the go. Lighter and maintenance free.
