Ronny Dahl Bought a Quartermaster

Pretty sure in the video Ronny does press the overhead button so the whole system should be turned off, maybe the press wasn’t long enough
How stupid though, press a button for a few seconds, why not just press a button plus the light is already displayed ESC off so why isn’t it off but then no additional dash light comes on when the button is pressed to really turn it off
Another stupid design!!
I would assume Ronny is using the system as it’s designed plus he has a ton of experience off road so knows how to drive.
The only excuse is it’s a very steep sand dune and it’s a heavy vehicle

The longer press is to my mind the vehicle asking you ''do you really want to turn it off?''
Sometimes buttons get pressed in error during the heat of a moment.
I'm happy with how things are. When I got my car, I just printed a small card and laminated it and it sits on the dash next to the A pillar should I need to remind myself of any quirky functions.

You should read this as a measure of how many buttons are getting mashed here in order to avoid getting out into the mud.
That was me with lockers when first got vehicle, had it in my head in had to press, hold for 3 seconds then press to confirm, as with the off-road button. Went to garage saying they won't work, left feeling a right tit🤣
