real weight of the ineos

hey guys

i am a bit chocked about the weight of my truck. i check the coc papers and it says 2930 kg emtpy. its a trailmaster, winch, 17 steels, bf goodrich

i added some thinks and now my car weight with half a tank without a driver 3250 kg

so if go camping i am always above 3,5t
not so good

Vehicle weight is a very confusing topic.
Kerb weight, unladen weight, mass in service etc all have different definitions.

For the CoC the empty weight is the "mass in service" or "mass in running order". You can look it up, but this definition includes all fluids, a full tank of fuel and 75kg allowance for the driver. It does not include any accessories that you might have bought either factory or aftermarket.

@zzeuzz So you are look ing at:
2930kg. Mass in service. Assuming you weigh 75kg and have a full fuel tank.
60kg. Weight of wife
50 kg. Winch
80kg. Roof rack and tent

3120kg. Total

That leaves 380kg for your camping kit, offspring and any other heavy accessories.

You might go over 3500kg, but probably not.
