Quirks and other behaviors- the goid, the bad and the ugly

The cable for my phone goes in thete and the business end exits and lives on the outside. I get in, connect my phone and it slots beteeen the handbrake and cupholders as they are called.
The cubby houses 2 UHF radios and a Zoleo. And other stuff. How quirky!

Mine as well, but I spent a few days in Melbourne for work and pinched the cable from the grenny to use in the hire car while away. So yes it’s only a problem when you have to put it back - 1st World.

Cable to charge my phone.
I haven’t utilised the aux power in the footwell to put a near dash solution in yet because I’m useless and lazy.
My USB sockets in cubby hole doe provide enough power to charge phone, I have to use the ones behind and run a cable along the centre console to keep tucked in the seat pocket on my Tougher seat covers. The dealer has told me those sockets are low power and only for them to use for updates/data transfer. I do have a wireless dongle plugged in for the android auto.

Wait! Theres a power tap waiting to be used in the footwells??
Caped wiring behind the trim in both footwells against outside, you can then choose what to add on each side. I've put 12v socket and USB in passenger side, not used drivers side but often used for UHF radios. Instructions on how to access can be found somewhere on the forum.

Strange, mine certainly do but I’m not sure if the ones behind are high powered ones, I’ll have a look.

The fact the B post obliterates the view at a junction.
The DPF afterburner.
Strangely like both for no good reason other than deterring the school run / Mall crawler appeal of the vehicle.
