I had Kermit out in the mountains today for a little skiing, the Mickey Thompson tires worked well in the snow. Finding tire chains for 255/85-17 tires was a chore but am good to go now.

Did you run it with center lock?

How much space for chains in your wheel well? I’m thinking I cannot fit chains and 255/85R17 ties on stock suspension.

No issue fitting chains on the rear, I didn't measure the clearance on the rear, but there was plenty of room. I have the same size tire 255/85R17. I did not try fitting on the front.

Up at Crystal Mountain, no need for center lock. The Mickey Thompson tires worked really well in the snow.
