Mine made absolutely no noise last year. I noticed this spring the first time I had the window down and was up against the house it now has a slight whine. being as I never touched anything, and the PS pump has leached like most indicating a full load of fluid, my experience doesn't really portend the existence of a "fix", such as air from the factory. If Ineos's supplier did a batch production based on pre order counts (which I don't think they have hit yet), they are going to use them all up before a redesign hits the market. If it's more JIT, someone still needs to bring the situation up to the supplier and a fix needs to be designed, and existing production isn't going to cease, as they can't sell a car without one. Either way, if model '25's are still howling, your hope is pinned on model '26... then MAYBE you have a TSB situation whereby Ineos replaces the loud ones, and the rest of hope theirs doesn't degrade after the warranty is up.
At least thats what Zimm's crystal ball is showing... I also have the world ending in 72 days when yellowstone blows its top, so there does appear to be a conflict. I'll shake it again later.
