The LC250 was the top of my cross-shopping list in 2022 when I was pondering a replacement vehicle and had paid the refundable deposit on the Grenadier. On paper and pedigree the LC250 should have been a sure fire hit and on sales volume it still is. I'm not a fan of their current 2.8 diesel so that was disappointing and the loss of space in the rear due to the hybrid/battery lump is a rare Toyota design miss. The model lineup at launch also didn't impress me. The options I wanted would force me into 7 seats with a further loss of space and payload. Another model, the Altitude, was added in the Australian line up recently which offers 5 seats with the higher spec kit previously only available with 7 seats. If the Altitude was in the initial market launch I may have been posting in a different forum today

.
Offer me an LC250 Altitude fitted with the LC300 V6 and I'd sign up tomorrow. That won't happen though so I'm likely here for a while yet. Sorry to get everyone's hopes up
