Build Thread Kristina’s Build - Snuffleupagus

@DaneJa - The primary motivation for the Metalcloak components was additional caster adjustment and axle re-centering for the minor lift we’re receiving. Quite possibly overkill …buy once cry once? but I’d like to be as flexible as possible going into our suspension upgrade. It also gives us the ability to adjust the lift going forward if we ever find the need to do so.

Again maybe paranoia…
I love my metalcloak arms & trackbars, alignment benefits are perfect, the NVH drop from the duroflex joints is remarkable, and the gains in articulation are fantastic even a modest lift heights (I have the euro-spec 1.7"|1.2" Eibach). They're stout as can be too.

Main thing, make sure your installer tightens up the jam nuts after alignment (if there's any clunking check all nuts including on the steering links), I found all my jam nuts to be loose, so I tightend up with Knipex adjustables (to get into the tight spots) and torque striped each nut in an easily inspectable area, e voila! Even post Death Valley corrugations everything is tight and happy!

FINALLY! … Le jour de gloire est arrivé … Our Nimbus Erebus dampers have arrived and we’re on track to install everything early next week.
