To be clear, I am sure Paco could do better shots with a dumbphone than I could ever do even with a Phase One. I was just wondering, what difference a bigger, „warmer“ sensor would make in the hands of someone who masters the art and craft like he does. Otherwise, I plead guilty to being a Pentaxian but this is probably not the weirdest trait a Grenadier driver could possibly have!

The sensor size influences but not that much, the Nikon D750 is a Full Frame of "only" 24 Mpx. but as I mentioned in my opinion one of the most important things in night photography is the sensor's ability to manage noise, keep in mind that this photo was taken with an iso 6,400 and the noise has not been reduced, it is edited without using any noise filter, for a few weeks they let me use a Nikon z7 III, with a much larger sensor (61 Mpx) and I did not find any notable improvement compared to the 750D, only of course the weight and size of the mirrorless which would be the only reason if in the end I decide to jump to mirrorless, Greetings

I'm curious why some LC250s need to wear a nappy.

I completely agree with you. I now have an LC250 myself. My nappy looks a bit different. It's a great vehicle. But it's a shame that the Japanese didn't manage to do better. I would have expected more from them. It's embarrassing, really.

The LC250 was the top of my cross-shopping list in 2022 when I was pondering a replacement vehicle and had paid the refundable deposit on the Grenadier. On paper and pedigree the LC250 should have been a sure fire hit and on sales volume it still is. I'm not a fan of their current 2.8 diesel so that was disappointing and the loss of space in the rear due to the hybrid/battery lump is a rare Toyota design miss. The model lineup at launch also didn't impress me. The options I wanted would force me into 7 seats with a further loss of space and payload. Another model, the Altitude, was added in the Australian line up recently which offers 5 seats with the higher spec kit previously only available with 7 seats. If the Altitude was in the initial market launch I may have been posting in a different forum today 🤷.
Offer me an LC250 Altitude fitted with the LC300 V6 and I'd sign up tomorrow. That won't happen though so I'm likely here for a while yet. Sorry to get everyone's hopes up 🙏.

I managed to get one of the last pure diesel engines available. From now on, at least here in Germany, only the mild hybrid version can be ordered. This means I have no restrictions in terms of space. The boot is larger than in the Grenadier. My equipment fits in better.
I can't say much about the engine yet, except that it uses 4 litres less diesel per 100 km. However, I haven't used it off-road yet. That will change, especially now that I've fitted KO2 tyres.
I have currently seen two new LC300s with 3.5-litre V6 engines for sale.

Way back photo...My niece's class was doing the Flat Stanley lesson so I took him to Florida with me. Had one of the coaches for the Single A Vero Beach Dodgers take a pic with Flat Stanley during an inning change.

Following the PamAm flight ✈️ 103 disaster over Lockerbie in 1988. The flight path was moved slightly north to avoid Lockerbie. It is now over our property so vapour trails at 30,000 feet is a daily sight. Fortunately at that height it is a silent occurrence.
We are in the flight path for planes circling to land at Liverpool and the really p*is me off🤬
