Pondering selling mine, is there a for sale forum yet?

Is there a for sale forum? I have a low miles Trialmaster that I am pondering selling. Too many wishy washy crap going on with it, all the bells and whistles are just an annoyance to me. Such a tough vehicle in design, but such a crap job of electronics and software. Why have collision avoidance, ESD, other functions if they turn off constantly? Why have uphill and downhill assist if they turn themselves off going up or down a hill? Hell, the tire pressures were off per wheel location too, and super sensitive. I think this is a case of "A lot less, would be worth a lot more"... Anyway, it is a cool vehicle and I am on the fence to sell it.

Met a couple today who have owned their Grenadier for two years like myself. Where as I have had virtually no problems. They had plenty. Leaking sunroofs, electrical gremlins to name two. Interestingly, this had not put them off and they were waiting on delivery of another one to replace their original. I felt encouraged that despite their issues, they still highly rated the vehicle.

I'm similar, had issues and still do but wouldn't swap it

None of this thread is helping poor 'The End'. Other than possibly rethinking his plans. :-)
Moral, read the brochure, and sales blurb together with spec before you buy to know whatyou are getting. Buyers remorse in hindsight would have been avoided

Not sure if it's quite that simple Eric.
Customers generally like what they buy to simply work. I would say that most dissatisfaction centres around issues as opposed to expecting an SUV type experience.

I like mine most days, but would sell it if I could get out without a huge loss. Funny thing is I want to get an even more rugged utilitarian vehicle. And even funnier thing is my proposed replacement drives better than the Gren😂 Plus no software glitches or nanny devices.

I take your point, and these days a lot of the unnecessary " features/ assistance " are driven by regulatory laws of relevant countries, so as a hard core off road vehicle can't be omitted.

I would put a small wager on the fact I could find complaints about every vehicle ever made. My Td5 Defender is a good example of something with lots of complaints. It only ever put a smile on my face. Received attention everywhere and fortunately, never let me down in 18 years and 90,000 miles.

You getting a slate?

I love mine, absolutely think it is the best. No electrical issues, no leaks, ac/heater works perfect, the steering on highway fits my one hand driving style. Turning is easy, I feel comfortable driving it in the city and parking not an issue. 2025 has worked out all the issues in my opinion. Yes I still have to turn off the ADAS but it goes in this Thursday for canvas cover and I will ask them to update the software.

I did read it all and watched all the build / design videos, although I love my vehicle we don't have what we were led to believe?
Access to support? access to parts? the ability to get it serviced not being tied into a dealer?

It sounds like selling it is probably a good decision for you.
No point keeping something that is just not making you happy or serving your needs.

Can I suggest though that if you are going to sell it. .......probably get someone else to write the ad or don't include

I can agree with all of the above! Plus, I stand out in the sea of Jeeps, Broncos, and LandRovers that I encounter everywhere…

Is this a genuine query, a cry for help or just a spleen vent? If you were serious about selling it here why would you dump on what you are trying to sell? If you really want to sell it eBay Motors, Facebook Marketplace, cars.com, CarMax etc etc etc. Or just trade it on something that will make you a happy chappy, its not like there is a lack of choice in the US auto market.

I think he is clearly venting. Let him do it here where the Fan Boys can counter his experience. Otherwise if he goes to I8MUD or something then everyone that reads will just remember the downside of owning a Grenadier.

Contain the dissent! 😂
