Opening driver side rear passenger door powers on infotainment screen - anyone seen or been aware of this behavior? Is it intended or a bug?
I noticed it after almost two years of ownership. I noticed opening doors sometimes starts the infotainment, but on my recent camping trip I started to question this behavior when found out that the screen does not always power on when opening doors, randomly, but only certain doors.

It's a feature not a bug - it is how the Grenadier mitigates the relative slowness of the infotainment boot sequence, it starts as you climb in.

Any progress on overriding this behavior so it won't do stuff when open doors? Family of four here, draining the battery before evening on door openings
