I have ordered Sterling Silver (for the 1:1 model).

They haven't however scaled the metallic grains to 1:18th ...


PS: A question: Do they weigh about the same, say by two or three grams? I ask, because on the German site the shop says for the Silver one (translation)  "made of Sterling Silver" ... ? ?

I ordered the model in grey. It arrived really really well packaged. But when I opened it the front bumper on the model had broken off and the rear offside wheel was slightly bent. I don’t believe this happened in transport, it must have been packaged like it. It was in left hand drive which as a Uk customer buying a UK vehicle (to all intent and purposes) I was disappointed. So I decided to send it back to get it changed for another one. Simple ???…. No not at all! You can only have a refund, there is no option to have a replacement. I Have an order on place for a Grenadier, but I really hope the vehicle is better than the Ineos IT systems. In the end I have just sent it back for a refund as this was the only option. The delivery of the models appears to be handled by a third party provider, not the best start in the world!

It’s a heavy beast  even in scale form. It is making me desire it even more. Not seen one in the flesh as yet but didn’t stop me sticking in a deposit.

Just five minutes ago I have ordered one in Sterling Silver. The idea with the birthday gift didn't work out, so I do it myself.

I have always been a DIY man.

I’m wondering if you can post a pic with the rear doors open…? I’m interested to see how the rear wheel arches are depicted in the cargo area. Hoping the arches have been modified in the production build and the scale model is meant to represent the production build from what I’ve read ?

Where I work we find it is far better to give the customer a refund and have them place a new order as well. It is faster for everyone and tracks the warranty on the new product correctly and from the new date. The alternative is wait for the faulty product to be returned, unpacked, inspected, approved and then a new order manually created and dispatched.
