When I got my Grenadier I found the need for somewhere convenient to place my phone. With CarPlay I don't need to see it generally, but like it to be somewhere close at hand. I looked at the existing options and none seemed quite right. Trying some positions it felt like the ideal spot would be alongside the console on either side. I couldn't find anything like that for the Grenadier specifically, but I found a small company making something similar for a couple other vehicles. I contacted them and their designer, Jon, was very receptive. I helped with measurements and a couple design suggestions and he jumped right in and he surpassed what I was looking for. The color and the texture matches the other panels in the interior, and the sizing matches the lines of the other panels they're near.
They are now available to purchase on his website, here: https://materium.shop/products/ineos-grenadier-phone-slim, at a price that I told him seemed way too reasonable compared to the pricing on similar items for the Grenadier interior.
