So obviously a click bait title, the vandal who defaced my grenadier was the owner :LOL:would've been great to have a second sun visor provided so I dont have to look at it while driving, but not so big a deal.

First impressions are this thing is an absolute joy to drive. I come from a Sprinter conversion and this is far more enjoyable for offloading, and seems to have all the space I need for my two dogs (Irish wolfhound and German Sheppard).

I have zero issues with steering, even turning radius is no where near as bad as the videos I watched claiming it to be. This was my biggest concern after watching all the videos, but honestly the steering is fantastic and even on the highway at speeds of 80mph, there are no wandering issues at all.

A few questions Ive searched the forum for but had little luck finding are:

1. I have the high amp aux package, are there any uses that are generally considered the "best use" for these switches? Ill be using the outer connections (I believe its etc 4/5) for some exterior lights and RTT, but is there anything else seen as a must have/must install accessory with this option?

2. I have a subwoofer where the secondary battery would go. Is there a post already made on "how to" install/wire another battery without removing the speaker?

3. anyone here know of/part of a Los Angeles based group that has trips to our local trails?
Sorry if these are obvious questions, but im not the most savvy on computers.

That's pretty cool to have.

You're on the right track for the exterior lights. It seems to be easiest if you spend some time really deciding what you want to have before you start with the mods. It will keep you from doing things twice. The build threads on here will keep you busy for hours and will show you just about everything you can possibly do.

I don't think there is a solution for the subwoofer. There was a company promising a bracket that would allow you to move the sub to another location but it hasn't happened yet. I removed mine and don't notice the difference at all. Most factory subs handle bass so poorly that removing it probably fixes more sounds than it breaks.

There is a Socal group on here. But you can also watch peoples posts that show where they are from.

I'd put a complaint in, looks a bit like what the British Leyland workers used to do when building the vehicles, hiden messages to each other along the production line.

Get it wrapped/protected or request/pay for a new one and store. They might get one for you for free🤞I would want to keep it on the vehicle with some long term protection.

Did you know you were getting this or was it just a nice surprise? Wonder how often he is planning to add these little messages 🤔

Thanks for all the info! I'll check out the build and see what options pop for me, and will be checking out the social group. As for the subwoofer, I agree with you. I've turned it off and didnt notice a difference, so I wont mind removing it

I didn't know until I was signing the paperwork! I saw the vin number was 25000 and said "hey, thats pretty cool" to which the sales rep said "oh yea! come check this out". My face was more 😐 than anything else, but since this was the only donny grey they had I just went with it. I think Owl makes some cool replacements so I'll go that route if I can find some used/cheaper ones (for $400 I might as well make some)

@reidanerg welcome to the Grenadier family!

I've done a few outings in Santa Clarita and San Bernardino with the So Cal group, you can find it in these forums...here:
https://www.theineosforum.com/dbtech-social/southern-california-ineos-club-scic-socal-gren.1/

In fact, I did The Mojave Road with a forum member a few others last month, lots of fun!

I think my Baja Designs XL80 on the 25A High Load Aux switch with dimmer gets the most use. They replaced the factory off-road lights (difficult to turn on). Really good on the trial for day time use and adds so much to visibility when I have been up in the snow (yellow lenses). I have a Baja Designs light bar hooked up to the overhead switches, some bumper light pods, and a Starlink Mini. Also have a some Baja Design S2 Scene Lights I can plug in, but haven't been using them as much and rely on other camp lighting more than the scene light. Looking at adding a chase light or rear light bar kit

My Grenadier came with the auxiliary battery and I add the CTEK 250SE for DC-to-DC charge and the ability to take in solar, but having gone through that if I was to do it again I would have rather not had that battery and would have REDARC DC-to-DC charger and a "true" lithium ion house battery. I use a DJI Power Station and Super Fast Car Charger, so have plenty of battery and inverter power when needed.

I think you will find forum folk here friendly and helpful!
