More Wolfbox questions

I just mounted my rear camera under the third brake light rather than the inside rear door window. Super crisp and bright image on the Wolfbox screen.

I had my local shop make this bracket and mount the front camera in the front grill. Great view for lining up rocks!

I am getting the Unavi surround system installed on my vehicle today in Tustin, CA! The car came with the Wolfbox 900 Pro already from the dealer (Mossy in San Diego). I'll be sure to report back on how it went.

I'm gonna stop by today and check out the progress. The guy there showed me all of the components and how they mount. They replace the factory rear camera with their own using the same hole, and the other three cameras look to be same model with different housings. The ones that attach to the bottom of the side mirrors actually have a whole bracket that surrounds the inside of that mirror. The brain itself goes behind the dash, and its activated by the CAN bus - so automatically when in reverse, or by pressing the "OK" button on the steering wheel.

OK - I stopped by and took some progress pics. This is after just a few hours.
This is a pic of the replacement for the rear camera.

This is one of the side cameras with a new ring around the mirror frame.

Jimmy the installer showing me where the bracket will go for the front camera, with the camera staged right above while he gets the bracket in place..

Another view of that side camera.

All of this looks factory-installed. I'm pretty happy with how it all looks. I'll report back with a video of it in action, since I'm picking it up tomorrow after it's all calibrated.

This looks like promising tech.
Are extended towing mirrors much of a thing in the US? Either the clip-on, strap-on 🤭, or Clearview replacement types? That will be an issue with those clip on side cameras.

Rumour has it that Clearview in Australia are SLOWLY taking interest in doing replacement mirrors for the Grenadier. I'm waiting on a response from the local Snap and Zap importer to see if Wrangler or Gladiator clip on mirrors might fit the Grenadier. From a squinty distance the Jeep housings look similar to Grenadier but I haven't been able to compare them directly.

Is it possible to not have the giant padlock show up in the middle of the screen when a file is locked?
